Goals
IHM, i.e. or the Collecting Society according to article 11 of the Copyright Act, is a joint copyright organization for authors, performers and producers. IHM collects remunerations for the sale of blank audio and video media and hardware, used for reproduction of material protected by copyright, and distributes to rightholders. IHM represents the large majority of Icelandic rightholders and - through reciprocity agreements-most of the foreign rightholders.
