Specific Conditions

  • The production shall be shot in studio in one or other of the coproduction countries. If the script or action of the program so requires and if technicians from the two co-producing countries take part in the shooting, location shooting, exterior or interior, in a country not participating in the co-production, may be authorized
  • The director(s) must be Canadian, or French, or nationals of a member state of the European Economic Community, or permanent residents of either Canada or France.
  • The participants in the production shall be Canadian or French or nationals of a member State of the European Economic Community, or permanent residents of either Canada or France. Third-party country performers may be permitted, subject to agreement by the competent authorities.
  • Twinned productions are allowed. In the case, exceptions may be granted for third-party producers, scriptwriters, performers, directors and technicians regarding the nature of the twinned productions and subject to the approval of the competent authorities.
