Specific Conditions

  • Production companies must have a sound technical and financial set-up and professional experience recognized by the competent authorities
  • Artistic and technical contribution must be proportional to coproduction investments . The contribution of the minority coproducer shall include at least one author, one technician, one actor in a leading role and one in a secondary role . Films should be performed by directors, technicians and artists of the Contracting Parties. Other artists than those previously referred to may be allowed, if required by the production and prior agreement between the competent authorities of the Contracting Parties . Studio shooting shall preferably take place in studios located within majority coproduction country. It may also take place in each of the co-producers countries
  • Coproductions shall be shown at festivals or competitions by the majority coproducer or, in the event of equal financial participation, by the coproducing country of which the director is a national.
