On 31 January, the CEE Animation Forum announced three new online CEE Animation Experience sessions, which are set to take place between February and April.

CEE Animation Experience is a series of master classes organised in cooperation with selected partners in the CEE region. This activity targets animation-industry professionals, who will gain new insights as shared by top regional and world experts, and enjoy a rewarding experience directly related to film production. In detail, the upcoming sessions will provide tips and tricks on how to make a stop-motion production eco-friendly (21 February), examine a case study on the international sales of the Slovak-Czech animated feature The Websters [+see also:

The sessions will zoom in on the most current trends, case studies and strategies relevant to local, national and regional communities of animation professionals, young talent and students.

“Watching the stories of how famous works were created is an exciting spectacle. Plus, sharing both positive and negative experiences is the best way to improve your own production. Everyone is interested in avoiding mistakes and emulating successful solutions. This is also the inspiration and the driving force behind the CEE Animation Experience,” said Maria Motovska, coordinator of the initiative.

“Our aim is to bring an interesting programme to a large audience with a wide spectrum of specific topics. All of the activities within our CEE Animation platform lead to increasing filmmakers’ skills and improving the quality of animated projects in the CEE region,” she further explained.

All of the webinars will be live-streamed on CEE Animation's official Facebook page. On the same page, users can also access around 30 past sessions recorded from 2020 onwards.

CEE Animation is co-financed by the governments of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, through Visegrad grants from the International Visegrad Fund and Creative Europe - MEDIA.
