Goals

The Rotterdam Film Fund and the commissioner are supportive of all working in the field of film. They offer financial and facility support for filmmakers, television producers and documentarists who want to shoot there productions partly or complete in Rotterdam. Free of charge and without unnecessary bureaucracy Film Commissioner is the service centre for the growing number of domestic and foreign producers who wish to film and work in the Rotterdam region. The commissioner is also a consultant for government authorities that are in any way related to the audio-visual media. The city of Rotterdam has developed a policy with a protocol for ‘Filming in Rotterdam’. Productions have to be registered in the Central Filmplanning.
