Goals
Established in 1980, the Italian Federation of Arthouse Cinemas (Federazione Italiana Cinema dÂ’Essai) has as its primary purpose the promotion of art-house cinema in Italy, in addition to assisting the sale of associated legal issues, legislative, economic and organizational. Has relations with the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and the Directorate General Cinema of the Ministry, is a member of CICAE (the International Confederation of art-house cinema), collaborates with the most important film festivals and organizations promoting film quality, associations and European bodies.
