Goals
The Greek Union of Actors was founded in February 22 of 1917. During its long-lasting course exhibited rich trade union and cultural activity engraved by the contrarieties and particularities of political and historical march of our country. According to its constitution, some of its aims are: the prompt protection and defense of the financial, artistic, professional and social rights of actors, the free performance of trade union rights, the diminution of unemployment, the promotion of theatrical decentralization and the revival of theatrical studies.
