Co-production Treaty between
France & Greece

Specific Conditions

• Production companies must have a sound technical and financial set-up and professional experience recognized by the national authority
• Each country’s artistic and technical contribution shall be proportional to their financial investments
• Directors, technicians and performers shall be nationals or have the status of a resident in either France or Greece or have the status of being of Greek origin
• Studio shooting shall preferably take place in studios located within majority coproduction country
• Co-produced films shall be shown at festivals by the country providing the majority co-producer unless otherwise agreed by the coproducers and approved by the competent authorities of both countries
• A case-by-case basis to the co-production of films between France and Greece along with countries with which either of them is bound by film co-production agreements is favoured by the competent authorities of the two countries
