Co-production Treaty between
Egypt & France

Specific Conditions

• Production companies must have a sound technical and financial set-up and professional experience recognized by the competent authority
• A general balance shall be maintained between the two countries as regards both their respective contributions and the involvement of artists and technicians
• Directors, technicians and performers shall be nationals or residents of either France or Egypt or foreigners habitually residing and working in Egypt or having the same cultural background as Egypt
• Studio shooting shall preferably take place in the country of the majority co-producer
