Permits are required for some specific natural locations. The cost of a permit varies according to the location as well as the nature and size of the production. Stockholm Film Commission recommends all international productions to work with a local location manager and a production company. If you are not causing any disturbance in the area you are shooting in, you do not need a shooting permit, but it is always a good idea to contact local authorities when shooting on public ground. A police permit costing SEK 500 can be obtained at a local police station.
