The goals of IBERMEDIA are:
- to promote the integration of Ibero-American companies in audiovisual supranational networks
- to support the development of co-production projects submitted by independent Ibero-American producers
- to increase promotion and distribution of Ibero-American films
- to provide training, workshops, and scholarships for professionals in the Ibero-American audiovisual industry to continue their education, as well as promote the use of new technologies
