For small shoots, in most cases, no permission is needed for filming in and around Korea. Permission will need to be granted for certain locations, including historical sites and the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), and may involve a fee.
ATA carnet is accept with validity limited to 6 months. If more time is needed, the Carnet Holder should request such of South Korean Customs before the expiry of the final date of re-exportation.
